The Young National Chef of the Year represents the most talented pool of young chefs in the UK. We are honoured to be a part of it, supporting the grassroots of the industry.

We are proud to have sponsored the National Chef of the Year competition since 2009, one of the most prestigious and respected culinary competitions in the UK.

Since it launched in 1972, previous winners like Gordon Ramsay, Alyn Williams, David Everitt-Matthias and Mark Sargeant have seen how it helps fast-track careers to put winners firmly on the map, and on the path to Michelin stars.

This years National Chef of the Year 2024 winner is Alex Angelogiannis of The Glenturret Restaurant by Lalique.

We are a Business Partner of the Craft Guild of Chefs, the leading chefs association in the UK. The Guild aims to develop the careers, skills, knowledge and ability of its members.

Through our membership, we get to support events such as Wessex Salon Culinaire, a platform for all chefs and especially beneficial to student chefs to get their first taste of competition experience.

The Clink Charity, which works alongside Her Majesty’s Prison Service, is a range of fully functioning restaurants open to the public who train and rehabilitate offenders within the hospitality industry. 

By transforming the lives of prisoners and Clink graduates it not only benefits them but also their families and victims of crime and society as a whole by reducing crime rates and encouraging meaningful employment. We are proud to support the incredible work of the Clink Charity.

We are pleased to be a supporter of Hospitality Action who offers vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within the hospitality industry in the UK and who find themselves in crisis.

As well as this, we are proud to be able to support Bridage, a charity and restaurant who aim to help adults experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness, back into long-term and meaningful employment. Apprentice chefs trained by the charity prepare the food at Brigade, making it a social enterprise as well as a classic British restaurant.
